Terms of Service – FishTeck

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the FishTeck platform, including our SMS notification service, web application, and any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FishTeck is an operations and compliance management platform for seafood processing facilities and distributors. The Service includes:

HACCP documentation management
Daily inspection tracking and reporting
Purchase order and sales order management
Document storage and sharing
SMS and email order notifications

3. Eligibility

The Service is available to registered business customers of FishTeck. By using the Service, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of your business and that your use complies with all applicable laws.

4. SMS Messaging Terms

If you opt in to receive SMS notifications from FishTeck, you agree to the following:

You are providing express written consent to receive text messages from FishTeck / Golden State Seafood
Message frequency varies based on your order activity
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier
Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe — you will receive one confirmation message and no further messages
Reply HELP for assistance or contact arev@goldenstateseafood.com
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages
SMS opt-in consent is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services

5. Order Processing

Orders submitted through FishTeck — whether via the web platform or SMS — are subject to product availability and your account terms with your supplier. Submission of an order does not guarantee fulfillment until confirmed by your supplier.

6. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activity that occurs under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
Ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including FDA HACCP requirements

7. Subscription & Billing

FishTeck is offered on a subscription basis at $10 per facility per month. New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with no credit card required. After the trial period, a valid payment method is required to continue using the Service. Subscriptions may be canceled at any time.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation
Send unsolicited messages or spam
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

9. Limitation of Liability

FishTeck is not responsible for delays or failures in SMS delivery due to carrier issues, network problems, or device compatibility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FishTeck's total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or within the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
